OUR NEXT CLASS:
CULTURAL APOLOGETICS
Description: Cultural Apologetics strives to show that the story of the gospel is not only true but also good and beautiful. This class is an interactive course that explores cultural apologetics for the purpose of equipping God’s people to more effectively speak about the story of the gospel to those around them. We will look at our need for cultural apologetics in this moment, try to understand people as more than merely brains to argued with, examine the dominant social imaginaries of our modern, Western culture, and see the need for the local church in this practice. Along the way, we will benefit from the guidance of wise voices, both ancient and modern, to help us as we seek to display the truth, goodness and beauty of the gospel to a post-Christian world.
